Word of Grace-Make me into a new wine

John 2:5-10

Now we focus on the wine maker who is Christ. Remember at the wedding after all the wine had finished, Mary the mother of Jesus told them to listen and do whatever Jesus tells them. And Jesus did a miracle that erupted sweetness. The master of the banquet questioned the groom why was the best and expensive wine kept till now after we have been exhausted with the less expensive wine.  Halleluyah!

Brethren, we are found in the picture. As a new wine we will look favourable and so sweet. Anything we touch shall bring fruitfulness. Our lives as believers will attracts sweetness and love from all angles because we now walk in power and in miracles. People will ask where have you been all this while even though you had been around. When the Lord breath into our lives, we can not remain the same.

As we sojourn the land today, this is our prayer, oh Lord breed a new wine out of us so we can be a solution to every question life may bring. For as a new wine we are made anew to break new grounds even in the midst of hardship because we have been empowered to excel.  Praise the Lord!

Word of Grace-The effect of the love of God.

John 19: 25-27, Ps91:16, 1John 4:7-11

Apart from being protected at the secret place, we also learned that if we acknowledge and love the Lord, he will satisfy us with  long life. Our ability to love the Lord now comes as we consent to his love. We in turn receive the desire to love him. So we love the Lord because we have experienced the power of his love.

Now John, who was known in Hebrew as Yohanan, meaning "God has been gracious," referred to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved in his own epistle on several occasions. Now, being conscious that you are loved is crucial because it allows you to easily take up the mantle of caring for others. This was evident when, on the cross, Jesus said to the disciple whom Jesus loved, "behold your mother," Mother behold your son.  And he took her home to cater for her.

May we experience the power of God's love today even as we desire to be there for our families, loved ones, and friends, and may we be able to relate so effectively to accomplish the good we aim to demonstrate according to how we have been loved. Amen.🙏_

Word of Grace-Find your shelter in the Most High God

Psalm 91

This morning, I 'd like to remind us  of  Psalm 91, where the Lord makes a very weighty promise of protection for us who find shelter in him. Those who are confined within the fortress of God.

Now, we need to remind ourselves of this promise of protection as believers because the world is described as a battleground, where wars and pestilences are rampant each day and night. But once we have  acknowleged God as our fortress and refuge by accepting the life of Jesus, God delights in shielding us from  all the evil happenings of this world.  May our  joy be found in knowing this truth. Hallelulyah

We should be rest assured that as we find shelter in the secret place of the Most High God, he will direct his angels that conerns us to guard and protect us in all our ways. In additon, he will protect us from pestilences and plagues, and most importantly, his faithfulness will be our shield and our protective barrier through it all. Shalom.

Word of Grace-Grace supplies what the law demands.

Romans 7:18-20, John 3:16

The law is perfect and for that matter holy. However, the law requires man who is bankrupt to react to its demands in practice. In effect, man continually strained to keep up, and wrestled miserably with the law. Little did we know that God had wrapped us in grace to bring the law to an end by Christ, providing him who represents grace to ensure we met God's righteous demands in due time. Hallelujah.

While the law requires righteousness and holiness from us, grace supplies us with righteousness and holiness that leads to life through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus. When the law was delivered on Mount Sinai, it resulted in the deaths of around 3000 people, however when the spirit was given on Mount Zion, 3000 people were rescued. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. Hallelujah.

Are you for Mount Zion or Sinai, brethren? You are linked to Zion if you are united with Christ. This is where the Holy Spirit empowers us to live a holy life.  No one is worthy of his kingdom without grace. We are described as a dirty rag without Christ. But praise be to God, who sent him so that those who believe in him will not die but live eternally. Shalom.

Word of Grace-Give me Jesus, and I will be saved

John 3:16, John 1:4, Thess4:14, Mark8:36, Rev3:20

Being alive means being found in Christ. In other words, there is no life without Christ. He represents life, he is the source of life which is the light that shines ahead of  us according to the living word.

He is the one who paid the ultimate price for our salvation on the cross. His love for mankind is unparalleled, which is why we implore everyone to accept him for the bible says, whoever accepts Christ does not die, but rather sleeps in order to live forever with Christ. Hallelujah!!!

As Jesus knocks at the door of every heart, salvation surely awaits  every soul. This is to say every one needs Christ. Therefore whatever we gain in this world is worthless unless we turn to Christ, for the gains of this world are for the body, but  the gain of Christ is for the soul. May this be the  cry of every soul; Give me Jesus, and I will be saved. Shalom!

Word of Grace-We are most welcome before God

Heb 10:20, 2Cor 5:19, Luk15:17-24, Matth27:50-51

We are most welcome before God because, when Jesus gave up the spirit, God tore the veil in the temple, indicating the end of the separation that existed between sinful man and holy God. That's God intervened to reconcile sinful man unto himself. This beautiful experience is also depicted in the parable of the prodigal son, where the father stepped out to welcome the lost son in a grand style. Hallelujah!

We can now be received by Christ because he has a righteous foundation that cannot be shaken or undermined by man's sinfulness. His righteousness remains powerful and contagious enough to nullify and make us clean.

Brethren, Christ came so that we could appear before the throne of grace, so let us be encouraged to seize this gracious moment because the more we come regardless of who we are, the more we are changed in a new living way for a renewed life in him. Shalom.

Word of Grace-His righteousness will spread

Psalm 37:6,  Leviticus 13, 2Cor 5:21, 1Cor 15:55-57

Leprosy is depicted as a  representation of defilement  of sin. The result of leprosy being sin is described as "ugly, disgusting, incurable, and contagious. It also separates men from God in effect, making the sinner a total outcast. Sin was indeed a powerful force.!!

But, as the sunlight spreads radiance throughout the land righteousness spreads forth for everybody. This spread only happens through Christ.  So anyone without Christ is a like the leper. And except for the righteous in Christ, he contaminates everyone he comes into contact with.  So the righteousness of God in Christ enables us to touch the untouchable as it happened when the leper approached Jesus and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can cleanse me. When the willing-Jesus touched the untouchable, he was instantly healed. Hallelujah!

This demonstrates that God's righteousness is much more greater and contagious, having the  capacity to render the sting of sin null and void, and consequently spreading over all. Hallelujah!
