WORD OF WORD-We are born of the spirit

Jer31:33-34, Heb10:15-17, John16:8, Gal4:30

Having surrendered to Christ, having given it all to live for Christ and most of all accepting Christ as Lord and personal saviour, result in spiritual birth. This birth comes with lots of benefits. These benefits are designed to better our lives in the long run as the holy spirit influences our movements from grace to grace and victory unto victory.

He who is born of the spirit have moved from the position of doubt to full assurance of salvation. This is so true because the spirit teaches us into all truth and convicts us of righteousness. This is in line with what is written;  we shall know God and have him as our God and also be to him  as his people. He covers our sins with no remembrance.

Live according to your make, the spirit, not like a bondservant, the flesh. For  as a new creation you're born of the spirit and you belong to the new covenant. Shalom.

WORD OF GRACE-Talk about the love of God

John 4:7-10, 16:27, Gal6:14, Rom2:4, 5:5-8

We can only share the love of God with others when we ourselves have experienced his love. If not there wouldn't be a desire to share because the love of God might not be in us.

The disciple whom Jesus loved was an example of one who as a result of being conscious of Jesus' love made over twenty five references to love in his writings. He boosted and was proud of Jesus' love for himself just as the word permits us to boast only in Christ alone. Whenever we do this God takes the glory.

I pray the grace of God leads us to become fully aware of the love poured in our hearts. As we become conscious of his love we can then extend to others for their benefits. By sharing, we cause them to  change for the better because  the goodness of God is intended to lead one to repentance. Shalom.

WORD OF GRACE-Greater grace

John 1:16, Acts 4:33

In addition to the already given grace, we have received another grace out of his fullness. Now i see why the spirit of the Lord themed  this year as the year of pure grace. He knew what was ahead would take only his grace and nothing else for our survival.

You see the reason why you and I got to be hopeful is that God had prepared enough in advance for us this year. And that's out of his fullness the provision is made available for us. This is the essence of grace; Jesus got all our pieces together so we don't have to get them by ourselves.

Brethren, as our hearts remain wide open to the things of God, we become receptive to his grace. This keeps us going even when it feels like God is not near but deep down within we shall surely know that in times like this God carries us on his shoulders. So do not feel left alone for greater grace is upon you, giving you comfort and living hope even now. Shalom.

WORD OF GRACE-Pursue the needful

Luke10:38-41, Romans10;17

This era, when situations seem abnormal and unfriendly, what exactly should we care for? At this point, we need something that can not be taken away from us and that's the word of God. Worrying has the tendency to stop us from believing but faith for liberation comes by the word of Christ which is the needful. When we're worried we deny ourselves of the reality of the finished work of Christ in our lives which can only be attained under the influence of "right believing" which is faith in Christ.

We understood by Jesus that the needful is the word of God which is himself. When we feed on him first we receive faith to remain calm even in the midst of storms.  So Jesus commended her for feeding on the word as the woman listened to him at his feat.

Brethren, how we see Jesus matters a lot. Do you see him as someone who is tired and hungry? Or someone who's so glorious, ready to minister to meet all your needs? In this time of fear and uncertainty, we ought to pursue the needful for when we feed on the word we become full of faith and eventually fearless. Shalom.

WORD OF GRACE-Not even an inch, if your presence don't go with us.

Exd 33:15-16, Heb 4:10, Gal 3:2

How far can you run or hide. The ends of the world is finite but there is a place right beside you which is an infinite hideout perfect for your protection. His presence is as a divine hedge around you. Moses said, Lord without your presence we can't go. Moses knew the presence of God meant God's backing and approval. That request changed everything. They virtually relied on God for survival.

Life blessed based on self effort, same is responsible for ensuring it sustainability. But life blessed based upon his finished work, God takes the responsibility which is already met in Christ.

For us to remain at the top we've to remain in Christ. Whoever remains in Christ, practices his presence. Whoever practices his presence, by faith seizes from his own works. He enjoys good works while God takes the glory. Hallelujah!

WORD OF GRACE-Authority to function

Gen1:26, Ps8:6-8, Tim1:7.

Right from the start, It had always been God's will to clothes man with power and right to rule dominantly over all the earth. God designed us in such a way to function with authority without having to wonder in fear. Glory be to God who has given us spirit of love and power and of sound mind. These divine gifts authorize us to function to perfection.

The good news for you and I is that, though we were once lost and rendered unauthorized, now his only son has been presented to searched us out so we could be found in him.

Brethren, may your joy be found in knowing the truth; having been brought back to our former state in Christ, by default we are authorized to dominate our world once again. Shalom.

WORD OF GRACE-The ruins shall come to live

Ezekiel37:2-5, Nehemiah 8:10

In the face of uncertainties, sickness, death, dearth, pain, lost. I mean in hard times where do you seek refuge? Is there any promise of hope that you can cling onto? Is there any mercyseat that your soul can soar upon? When the world seems to turn against you, how would you walk through such hell? We need strength to walk pass all these fire.

All the above point one to a total ruins. It takes only God to bring the ruins back to live. Can these dry bones obtain life? Only God knows how but the answer is yes. But it takes our faith and trust and our positive confession of Christ for the dead things in our lives to resurrect.

Brethren, all that I want us to understand is God is the only one who can give us strength to walk through hard times without causing harm to us. It's mine prayer that any tough times you are in right now, you will find strength and refuge in his presence and in his promise to endure till he brings the ruins back to live. Shalom!
