Word of Grace -Jesus is our fortress.
Jesus is our fortress.
Ps 18:2, Prov 18:10, Rom 1:17
A fortress is a stronghold or a secured point, where resolute defense, safety and security is assured. Those found in it are not susceptible to any form of attack in anyway. This is how the name of Jesus is to the born-again. our protection comes from the Lord.
Every born again is declared righteous in Christ. The bible says, the name of the Lord becomes fortress for the righteous, he is saved and secured in it. You may wonder, am I righteous enough to enjoy this divine protection from the Lord? The answer is double yes if you believe. It is written, the righteous shall live by faith.
Finally, the Bible says the righteous runs into the fortress, but in fact every born again is in Christ, in other words we just don't run into the fortress, we re found in it. As we hold onto this truth, it will help us to stand firm and live life victoriously in every area of our lives. Shalom.

Words of Grace- Let see ourselves in light of the spirit
Let see ourselves in light of the spirit
2 Corinthians 5:14-17
Be controlled by the love of God, for out of love Jesus died for all so that we might live for him. Whoever lives for Christ has received the life of Christ and he is led always by the life. This is how the Bible tells us to see ourselves. It is written, henceforth we know no one according to the flesh, why? Because we are found in Christ. God wants us to be conscious of our position in him. This helps us to maintain our focus in our walk with him as believers in fellowship.
The way we regard ourselves is how we find ourselves. There is power in that. Anytime we choose to see ourselves in Christ we are expressing faith which is right believing. This empowers to live as such.
Brethren, When Christ was flesh we saw him as such and when he turned, we did likewise. The Bible encourages us to regard ourselves in the right way and that's regarding ourselves not according to the flesh but the spirit.

Words Of Grace- Let the hope of God erupts in you
Let the hope of God erupt in you
Heb 6:1-12, Jere 29:11, 2Cor 3:12, Tim 1:1
Hope is a desire for something good in the future. In the ordinary when we express this hope we express uncertainty rather than certainty. "I hope I make it to the meeting on time." Meaning I'm not sure I will get to the meeting on time but I wish I get there on time anyway. This is how we express hope in the normal sense. But the hope of God which is built on Jesus' blood and his righteousness though is also a desire for something good, has more to it. It is a confident expectation that all that God has planned for us will surely happen.
There's an assurance in the hope of God, for in hope we inherit the promise. When God says he will give us an expected end it is actually hopeful end. That is all things shall be well with us in accordance with his promise.
This morning whatever you are going through, however the situation is, don't torture yourself for all is not lost. There's more in Christ for those who hope in God. May the grace of God erupts the hope of God in your heart to be able to wait on him for the appointed time. Shalom.

Word Of Grace-We walk by faith not by sight
We walk by faith not by sight
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
As the deer pants for the water, so do we long to be with the Lord our Father. This always manifest in our desire to live outside the body through faith as we close in at the Father's feet. We're conscious of the fact that to be away from the body is to be with the Lord. This is made possible by faith and not by sight. The things we see are temporal and surely they will pass away. But the unseen things are real and eternal.
Brethren, every good thing the world has, the believer has them in abundance. There is always much more to all that have been given to us. Living by faith place us beyond the world. Thus ours isn't just happiness but joy. Our blessings are supernatural. Ours isn't luck but favour. We don't live after chances but we look forward to an expected end. Our hope isn't like that of the unbelievers but our hope is certain, knowing that joy will surly come in the morning.
May the grace of God help us all to walk by faith to enjoy the glorious aftermath. I expect to see you at the top in all your endeavours as you trust in the name of Jesus. Amen

Word of Grace-Pay attention to the message of Christ.
Pay attention to the message of Christ
Jere 29:11, Rom 10:17, Joh 6:35
The messages we feed on or pay attention to is very important because they have effects on us. They either result in life or death. It is only the knowledge of Christ that gives life. All others lead to death. And you either become hopeful or fearful in life base on what you pay attention to.
As children of God who always seek to grow in Christ, we can only feed on his message to remain confidence in our walk with him. The Bible says, faith comes by hearing the message of Christ which is the good news, that always seek to build our confidence as we look forward to the expected end.
This morning what kind of report have you? What kind of thought has gotten into you? Do you sense fear? These reports, thoughts and fear all spell no hope. Please don't pay attention to them. But fix your thought on the message of Christ. For in there, God has better things for us; to give us expected end which is hope of victory in the end. Shalom!

Word of Grace-The time of the exceeding grace of God
The time of the exceeding grace of God.
Eph 2:6-8, Rom 5:17, 20, Acts 2
After being raised to life with Christ, there's more! God said now is the time that I will show you exceeding grace. Now Grace is unmerited favour of God. And its derived from the Greek word Charis which means "that which brings delight, joy, happiness and good news". Grace is also the divine empowerment to function in the power of the of the Holy Spirit. This was the same spirit given on the day of Pentecost for the salvation of three thousand souls.
Now why is God showing us exceeding grace ? This is because we have been raised to life with Christ who is the person of grace. So it is important we continue in the grace to experience the much more life in return. This good news is irrevocable, for is it independent on us and dependent on God's finished work through Christ.
The era of God's grace is here, so never relent in case you mess up. It is the moment you need the grace which is relentless, limitless, boundless, surpassing, extraordinary, extravagant and exceeding to rise and stand renewed and unique before God. Shalom.

Words of Grace- Fear not, for God will show you unkindness.
Fear not, for God will show you unkindness.
2Sam 9:7, Heb 12:2, Eph 2:7
And David said, is there anyone left in the house of Saul that i may show kindness for the sake of Jonathan? Behold there was one man left called Mephibosheth, who was crippled with no hope. David fullfilled the convenant he had with Jonathan by showing unusual kindness to Mephibosheth his son. Mephibosheth became the benefactor of his father's good works.
Brethren, this is our situation as we have come to believe in Christ. Mephibosheth might have done some good things in life but still he lived hopelessly. But when his helper showed up all of a sudden his life effortlessly changed for the better. Our blessedness is based on what Christ did. Our faith in him propels us to live this blessed life.
This hour wherever you find yourself, be encouraged to live worthy of your calling not as to what you can do but according to the finished work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who is the author and the finisher of our faith. In him only we have obtained mercy and grace to receive the kindness and the blessings we enjoy from God today. Shalom.
