Word of Grace-The Road to Easter

Isa 53:3-5, Rom 8:34

"He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of sorrow who became familiar with pain. He was the one whom people hid their faces. He was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering, while we considered him punished, stricken, and afflicted by God. Again, he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed. Hallelujah!."

Jesus suffered greatly on the cross for us. He willingly bore our sins and took the punishment in our place. Through his wounds, we are healed. So as we hold on waiting for the remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus, let remember that he is now at the right hand of the Father interceding for us and surely he shall return in robes of white and we will join him for the celebration of eternity.

Word of Grace-Jesus, our righteousness-Reloaded Pt2

1Cor 1:30 Gal 2:16, 2 Cor 3:18, 5:21, Heb 12:2

We have confidence in our relationship with God because of Jesus. As we put our faith in Him, His perfect righteousness is credited to us and, therefore, declared righteous in the sight of God.

Jesus empowers us through His righteousness to live a worthy life by the power of the Holy Spirit. As we walk in faith and obedience to Him, we become more like Him and reflect His righteousness.

Brethren, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, who is our righteousness. Let us trust Him alone for our salvation and allow His righteousness to transform us from the inside out. May we live each day in the power of His grace, confident in His love and His perfect righteousness. Shalom!

Word of Grace-Jesus, our righteousness-Reloaded Pt1

Rom 1:17, 8:3-4, Matt 5:17, Eph 2:8

As new creations, we believe that our salvation comes not through our own efforts but through faith in Jesus Christ. Now in the book of Romans, Apostle Paul wrote, "For in this gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith'". Hallelujah!

Therefore, our right standing with God is not based on our own merits or good works but on the perfect righteousness of Jesus, which is given to us as a free gift through faith.

Brethren, in time past, we see that the Israelites tried to achieve righteousness through obedience of the law, but they could not keep it fully. So God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to fulfil the law on our behalf as he declared us righteous through faith in him. Shalom!.

Chalom!.

Word of Grace-Strong and Youthful (Part 2)

Psalm 103:5, Gen 12:11-14, Joshua 14:11

Genesis tells us the story of Sarah, who remained beautiful even in her old age. She was still considered worthy to be the wife of a great king because of her beauty. This shows us that age does not determine our worth or beauty in the sight of the Lord.

Caleb also serves as a great example of how the Lord can renew our youthfulness. He says, "I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and for going and coming." Caleb's strength did not diminish with age because the Lord blessed him with renewed youthfulness.

So brethren let trust in the Lord and his promises of strength and youthfulness. As the psalmist says, "Who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." We should not let the passing of time discourage us, but rather, let the blessing of the Lord renew us and make us strong and youthful. Hallelujah!

Word of Grace-The Blessing of the Lord Makes You stronger and youthful. Pt 1

As we wait on the Lord, we may become worried about our age and the passing of time. The devil uses these negative thoughts to discourage us and make us believe that we are fading away. However, we should look to the counsel of the Lord instead

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." This means that as we trust in the Lord, our strength will be renewed no matter how old we are.

Brethren, as we personalise this promise through confession, we will not need the counsel of the man but rather be trusting in the Lord's promise of strength and youthfulness. Shalom.

Word of Grace-The goodness of the Lord will locate you during your lifetime

Ps 27:12-13, Jam1:2-3, Isa 41:10, Rom, 1Pet 5:10

There will be a moment when the Lord's favour will shine upon us, and we will be adorned with His splendour. Despite the chaos, we are undisturbed because we are aware of and have faith in this truth: during these challenging times, the Lord is transforming us into something new. Hallelujah.

We will, therefore, trust in the Lord, find solace and courage in Him, and rejoice with an incomprehensible joy even in the midst of turmoil. How is it possible to feel joy amidst chaos? The Lord is wise! Joy emanates from our spirits. It is our hope in Christ, eternal, whereas happiness is fleeting and visible in the present.

Therefore, remain steadfast in the Lord, persevere, and He will guide you through it all. Shalom.
