Word of Grace-Remain reconciled to God, believer.2Corinthians 5:18-21, Romans

 5:8-11, John 15:4

If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you have been reconciled to God by virtue of the fact that in Christ our sins have been wiped out. The wiping out of our sins is the work of God through Christ, and not of us.

This is our victory, and all that remains is for us to consolidate it. What makes this even more lovely and magnificent is that the ability to  consolidate this victory that we have in Christ is only posible if we continue to abide in him.

Brethren, to live a divine life, you must reconcile to God. The birth of Christ initialises his great feat. As we commemorate the birth of the Saviour of  the world, let us make conscientious effort to live life reconciled to God and we will see his glory. Shalom!

Word of Grace-Let the believer be still.

Isaiah 30:15, 46:10 Jeremaiah 31:2, John 19:30.

In stillness we discern the presence of Yaweh. In the silent space, knowledge of God as the creator and the possessor of the universe  emerges. So it's  written "Be still and know that I am God." In other words, we get to discern  and experience the supremacy of God, our Father, in quietness.

On the cross, everything we seek is fulfilled. All that is left for us to do is to receive. However, we can only hear and respond to the finished  work if we remain still in the Lord's presence, for it is there that we experience his strength, confidence and salvation.

Brethren, we hear an audible voice saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love.  I have pulled you with my lovingkindness," in the midst of silence. So many of the answers we seek have been made available, but we do not have them because we do not remain silent long enough to discern his presence . So be encouraged to be still as often as possible in order to detect his presence. Shalom!

Word of Grace-In Christ, the battle is won

Matthew 8:2-3, 1Samuel 17;45-49, Corinthians 15:57, Romans 8:37

David was sure of victory over the Philistines because of God. According to the story of the battle between him and Goliatt, he believed that the war was for Israel's God, the God who only  knows how to win. Hallelujah! He was also well aware of the covenant and the promises that had been made, and he put his faith in them entirely.

Battling leprosy for many years, resulting in total rejection,  the leper  eventually caught up with the Willing-Jesus, who instantly  restored his health. The leper was victorious over contagious diseases because of Christ. The battle is the Lord's, and we are grateful, knowing that in Christ we have victory in every area of our lives.   Hallelujah

Should we therefore sit and do nothing? No! David did something and so was the Leper; they both made themselves open for God to work in their lives. So, by faith, let us exert effort, believing that Jesus has already won the  victory for us even onto this day. Shalom!

Word of Grace-Confess the name of Jesus

Phil 2:9-10, Heb1:4, Acts 10:38, James 1:17

You have the authority to use the name of Jesus, if  you have accepted Christ as your Lord. It is written,  we are given a name purposely raised above all other names, and that name is Jesus. When the name Jesus is mentioned, everything in existence bow. The name of Jesus has power over the non-existence. Meaning,  he determines what should and  what ought not to exist. So, the Bible tells us, nothing was created without him. Hallelujah!

Now is the time for us to put Jesus' name to good use. By confessing Jesus, we overcome problems. Is it embarrassment , difficulties, barreness? The Bible says, he performed good wherever he went. So, if you believe that every good gift comes from God, then pronounce Jesus over your situation and all will be well again. Shalom!

Word of Grace-Backward never FORWARD EVER

Phillipians I3:13-14, Isaiah 43:18-19, Psalm 91:4.

If we are so united with Christ, there is no life nor anything good behind us. Our past is full of filthy stuffs and painful memories. So the New Creation is built to behold Christ and not to dwell on the past. We come back to square one whenever we revisit those wasted moments.

Brethren, even the devil knows there's nothing good except misery in our past. And It has always been his wish we go backward and defend ourselves because in that state we no longer have Christ at our defense; we are helpless. But now in Christ, we have a hopeful defence.

Declare to yourself "I have decided to follow Jesus. Forever I look forward. I place the cross in front of me and the world behind me Hallelujah!" Let  fix our gaze on the cross, for in there, our glorious salvation is found. Shalom!

Word of Grace-The Contagious Blessing

Numbers 6:22-27

In Numbers the Lord God Almighty  reveals the way of blessing his people as he instructed Moses to tell Aaron and his sons, the Priests to bless Israel in that manner. But why in such a manner? This way of blessing insures that the blessing is extended to endless  generations. This is a contagious blessing, not restricted but transcends beyond boundaries.

We have a mandate as believers and for that matter Priests, because of Christ, to exercise such way of blessing whenever we are to bless to put the name of the Lord among us, and he will reign blessings upon us.

So this morning from Glorious Worship; in the name of Jesus, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. This is for you and your family, your children and their children's children, and thousands generations all shall be affected by this contagious blessings . Amen and Amen and Amen! Shalom!

Word of Grace-Be defined by what God says about you

1Cor 1:30, 3:23, Joh 4:1-30, Rom5:1, Isa43:23, 25, Heb8:12

What has God said about you? Has he justified the sinner?  Then Let no one condemn for we are traced to the root of Christ. So from this vantage position who you are is not  as  a result of chance or what you did, but of Christ's calculated obedience. Our obedience maybe needful,  however, it is subjected to Christ's obedience. That's, without Christ's obedience, ours fall short of the mark.

Accepting what God said about you results in positive recollection. By this the enemy is denied victory  as we cease to dwell on our sinful past after we have been forgiven and then occupy our thoughts with positive  memories which lead to right living.

The devil is aware about our sonship, which  places us in an entrench  position  in Christ.  He knows God remembers our sins no more, but the devil still goes round accusing to deny us living victorious life. But if we accept what Christ has made us, we will have enough revelation to go running, proclaiming the name of Jesus to all,  just like the Prostitute whose encounter with Christ caused her to spread the name of Jesus. Shalom!
