Word of Grace-For in Christ, there has never been a time when hope was lost

Ps 125: 1-2, Isa 41:10, Deut 36:6

The ability to hold on is deposited in us by the Holy Spirit. As a result, we are able to cling on without letting go, focusing on the renewed hope found in him. In effect, we are built to follow the light even in the darkest hour.  He is our life and the life is the light that shines unto our paths. Hallelujah!

Brethren, circumstances may not be ideal, but one thing is certain, our redemer teaches us not to surrender because he never leaves us behind but leads us to the end. And this is our hope; our future is unquestionably secured in him.

And remember, for those who belong to Christ, there is always hope.  You're re like Mount Zion, which stands firm even in the face of storm. So no matter the situation  remember that  Jesus is our  hope always  to the end. Shalom!

Words of Grace-Do not trust in fleshy arms

Jeremiah 17:5-8.

Cursed is he who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is a like a bush in the wastelands; when success comes , they see it not. They live in drylands where almost no one dwells.

But blessed is the one who finds trust in the Lord. They blossom like a tree planted by the riverside with its root connected right with the stream. Its leaves remains  evergreen amidst heat and bears fruit even in a drought year. Halleluyah!!!.

When we put our hope solely in Christ, this is what we become in the day of  recession, turmoil and pestilence. The going may appear difficult, causing the future to appear  so bleak, but we will fear no evil because our resources come from above, with no reliance on man. As you put your trust in God, you will obtain what you need to sail through to the end fruitfully. Shalom.

Word of Grace-It pays to wait for the promise Pt2

Isa 30:18, Heb 6:13-14, Ps 27:14

What God promised has already been fulfilled, according to the finished work of Christ.  Now we have Christ, who has accomplished everything in himself. As a result, we must wait on God. But let us do so, knowing that Christ is everything that was promised.

We don't necessarily wait for the promise to come to us; rather, we get ready spiritually to receive it. So don't haste and don't rely on your own efforts, because Ismael was Abraham's best, but Isaac was God's finest. Hallelujah!!! God always accomplishes far more than we grasp.

Know that you are waiting in the promise as you wait.  This way you won't  term your time of wait a delay. And while you're waiting, don't question God, because doing so could lead to self-blame, because  there's nothing wrong with God. Then you start pointing at yourself. When this happens, the devil's allegation begins to take hold, thus preventing us from believing God. But, no matter what your position is, you can still trust  God for answering prayers.

Word of Grace-God's generosity, non compares.

Luk5:17-24, Eph3:20, Chro16:34.

Indeed the goodness of our God towards us is unparalleled. You wont ask God for something and  receive same.  He alway gives us more than what we could ask for.

Our heavenly Father acts as such because he knows what is needful for us than ourselves for the reason being that he is our maker. Just take a look at the prodigal son. He only wanted to be hired as a servant but his father had a different idea to receive him back as a son.

Brethren, what have you been needing God to do for you. Instead of being pessimistic be optimistic about the plans of God concerning your life and trust that his wish is always to prosper us and not to harm us. Shalom.

Word of Grace-In his presence, we rest to flourish effortlessly.

Exodus 33:14, Hebrew 4:11, Gen 39:2.

The work of faith is when you consciously know that the Lord is with you and for that matter you keep holding on regardless of the  situation. For we know that if the Lord is with us , we prosper as we enjoy his rest.

Now by the work of faith we labour into His rest. This rest is not necessarily inactivity, but it is faith at its pinacle . God wants us to  attain this level of faith as Christians to enable us to enjoy stability in the midst of the storm.

This morning no matter your situation believe to find rest for when you rest ,  you  let God takes care of your problems. It is important for us to remain resolute in faith because by that we sense and savour the  finished work of Christ. Shalom.

Word of Grace-Our status is beyond being forgiven.

Zech 3:4-5, Rom5:9, 8:34

There is the need for us to recognize that Jesus' obedience brings us to a state beyond just being forgiven. We who have surrendered to Christ, are absolutely spared of the wrath of God.

Despite the above, some christians still labour under a sense of guilt and condenmnation. But the good news is God has indeed removed our dirty clothes, and has given us clean apparel. Halleljuah.

Brethren, in addition to us being pardoned, we've been given the right to become the beloved children of God with whom he is well pleased because we are united with Christ, who has now become our obedience. He who sits at the right hand of the Father, is completely in our favour. Praise the Lord!

Word of Grace-Jesus's obedience is our gain.

Matt5:17-20, 20:28, Eph1:7, 2:10, Rom5:12, Gal3;19

To live a holy life one had to fully obey but the law came to reveal our feebleness which is the reason we needed someone who could live the perfect life of obedience so that we could then walk in them.

Now Christ obeyed every  commandment there is for us to obey. He fullfiled them all. Ours is to walk in them. But our ability to walk in them,  starts as we believe in Christ's obedience and for that matter his finished work.

Brethren, the quest of Jesus was to save the lost by offering his life as a ransom. He bore the guilt of man as he endured our hell when the consequences of sin fell on him fully. Now the believer stands redeemed and exists to guard this redemption by the help of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
