Word of Grace-The knowledge of Jesus' identity brings us blessings

Matthew 16:13-20.

Those who sounded hosanna, some days later days later were seen yelling crucify him as Jesus was declared heretic by the Pharisees and the Scribes.

When the identity of Jesus was questioned, he asked his disciples who do people say the son of man is? They gave him all sorts of names and he said what about you? Peter replied you are the Messiah, the son of the living God. Jesus said flesh and blood never revealed this to you but my Father in heaven. Jesus blessed Peter and said, on you Peter, the rock, will I build my temple and the gates of hades will not prevail against it.

To me Jesus is the son of the living God and the supreme saviour of the falling creation. Our knowledge of who he is result in our blessings. Amen.

Word of Grace-Victorious Salvation

Luke 19:28, Romans 3:23.

Ever since the commission of sin, man  longs for salvation. Victorious salvation that would reconnect us with God. And that was found in Christ as he made that momentous entry to the city of Zion.

The waving of palm fronds and shouting of hosanna was very symbolic. The first represents victory and the latter, save us. The remembrance of that beautiful occasion was a preview of our victorious salvation in Christ.

May this victory we have found in Christ, free us from  sin, guilt, shame, and death. And protect us from the enemies trap in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Word of Grace-Hosanna to the son of David.

Matthew 21:1-11.

King Jesus enters Jerusalem through to the  Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples to go to nearby village to untie the a donkey for him to ride on. This was in fulfillment of the prophecy that says tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Look, your king is coming to you! He is humble and mounted on a donkey. Hallelujah!

As he rides in, many in the crowd spread their own coats on the road. Others cut palm branches and flooded them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed him kept shouting resoundingly, “Hosanna to the Son of David! How blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest Heaven!” hallelujah!

Word of Grace-All hail Christ the King!

Joh1:17, PS 45:4, Matth 21:5, Zech 9:9

It is written, grace and truth came by Jesus. In psalms the glorious King rides in battle to defend truth and righteousness. Behold your humble and righteous King who comes in victory to save the lost.

The triumphant entry of Christ gives us so much joy and excitement for it is the preview of his glorious glory.

May the joy that surrounds the Messianic entry, stirs up our hearts till we want know no more of him. Amen.

Word of Grace-The King of Peace comes to save.

Matthew 21, Zachariah 9:9.

Christ the King of Peace came not to wage war but to serve as the reconciler who would draw all men to God. The donkey he rides on is symbolic. Its represents the one who comes in peace and not someone who meant war.

As we draw near to  the triumphant entry of Jesus, may the joy that greeted his glorious arrival in Zion, fill our lives with the expectation of the King who able to save us from condemnation. Amen.

Word of Grace-Anguished with sorrow, all for love.

1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:3-5, John 3:16.

He was wounded for our wrongs. Crushed for our evil ways. Pierced by the side and disfigured beyond recognition. The punishment needed for our peace was laid on him on the cross. Jesus was deeply distressed anguished with sorrow in our stead, for God so loves the man.

At the Easter, may the suffering and the agony of Christ that dealt with our sins, present to us a clear picture of God's love, for hope of glory for the believer and repentance for the unbeliever. Amen.

Word of Grace-The benefit of Jesus' crucifixion.

Galatians 4:6, Hebrews 4:16.

We can now become children of God because of that act of obedience by Jesus on the cross. And for being God's children, we have received the holy spirit  into our hearts and thus we cry out Abba! Father!_

This cry of Abba Father which is  Daddy,  depicts tender and intimate relationship that we have found in God through Christ.

As we reflect at the Easter, may may the grace draws us near to God to enjoy our position as sons and daughters. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Pray that we all get to dwell under the secret place of the Most High God.

Ps 91:1, 27:5, 31:20, Heb 4:11.

Being found dwelling under the secret place of the Father entails alot. It means you live in safety and provision, without fear of sudden terror. All you could expect is much more upon much more of his glory. Hallelujah!

We pray that God strengthens even as we labour to enter into his secret place just as we do enter into his rest to receive revelation, fresh anointing and refuel of our lives and our love for him so as to remain resolute in victory. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: Pray for restful life for evey believer

2Corinthians 4:16, Romans 4:10, Philipians 2:13

Whatever we go through in this life must not supress us as believers. Be it the waywardness of a child or other issues of life. But remember despite our efforts, God is the one who works in us to produce the needed result.

So this morning we pray that may God himself take charge of all our charges and manage our lives right from within so that we can live a life of rest. For a life that's full of rest even when the going gets tough, knows that it will surely end in praises. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: For the benefit of the sinner, pray for the zeal to spread the goodnews from every conner

John 17:20, Luke 31:34.

Jesus Christ was discribed by the pharasees as the friend of sinners. But his  purpose was not just to be their friends but also they may repent. So Jesus prayed for them as well to his father that all would come to believe in him through his teachings for their salvation.

We pray for the supernatural zeal to carry on with the mandate  of preaching the gospel so that whoever believes would also enjoy the answered prayer of Jesus. Amen.

Tuesday, 16 March 2021

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: According to the answered prayer of Christ, pray that we all may live together as one.

John 17:21

The death of Christ still makes alot of sense even at this point when we as a country yearn to be united as one. As we near Easter, we're remninded of the prayer Jesus said for us before his death, "that all may be one just as You are in me and I in You". Amen.

So Lord let all the  unfolding unfortunate events, attitudes, divisons through politics and other avenues. The wrongs that seems right and the lives that are valued over other lives, come to a halt as the anawered prayer of Christ causes us to stand togetther as one  for peace and prosperity. Amen.

Monday, 15 March 2021

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: Let pray for those who strive to live right without Christ to accept christ because it amounts to unrighteousness.

Roman 1:18 Galatians 2:20.

The bible says, the wrath of God is revealed against all unrighteousness. And there is no other thing besides right and wrong. It's either you are made right with God through Christ or you are made unrighteous through Adam.

So we pray that may all souls who strive to live right by themselves come to the full knowledge of Christ  to end their self efforts while they are alive to escape the wrath of God when the triumpet is sounded. Amen.

Sunday, 14 March 2021

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: May the goodnews get to all especially those who have never heard it before.

Romans 10:13-15, 2Peter 3:9.

The bible says anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. This underpinned the importance of evangelism as we reach out to those who have never heard the good news.

May we receive enough zeal to spread the message in all corners so that all will not perish but come to repentence through christ according to the desires of God for all men. Amen.

Saturday, 13 March 2021

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: May the love of God rules in our hearts instead

1John2:15-17, Romans 12:2.

As believers we ought not to be in unison with the world. We can achieve this by focusing on Christ as we do not love the world and the things therein, nor conforming to its patterns.

May the love of God take hold on us so as to avoid the effects of the deplorable and the fallen state of the current world. And may God heal our world with his perfect love, correcting all the wrongs around us. Amen.

We trust in the name of the Lord because we know what the name is capable of. The  bible says these are those who seek the Lord; they will never be forsaken.

It's our prayer that whatever we're going through, oppression or depression may God never overlook our plight because we have known and trusted his name. May he speak in favour of our nation and let peace and prosperity be found in any Ghanaian endeavour in the name of Yeshua. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: Pray that the Lord empowers us so that we may enjoy an increased strength for God and country

Isaiah 30-31, Deuteronomy 33:25.

The father that we have in God, is awesome. As our days increase even so he multiplies our strength. He empowers us to rise up, so we may faint not and also never grow weary.

Exodus 3:7-9

Just as the Lord came down to rescue the Israelites when he heard their cry, even so he tells us this morning that as we pray he grants our requests by turning our land into one that is full of milk and honey.

So this morning we pray that the Lord our Father takes away the oppressors and the suppressors out of our land and flood it with his goodness and well-being for us to dwell in a fruitful nation powered by God himself, our Father. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Pray: pray that we continue to dwell in peace in the aftermath

1Corinthians 1:10.

Father we thank you for yesterday as we all witnessed the peaceful ruling. Should there be any disagreement with the ruling, let it be done in peace by employing the appropriate channels.

And so we pray, in the aftermath may God cause us to behave in a manner that promote unity and not divisions. Though we share different opinions but may we be perfectly united in a cause that seeks to drive our nation in a direction of peace and prosperity. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: May the aftermath of the court ruling be peaceful

Wherever understanding prevails, peace rules.

As it remains likely that we'll witness the final determination of the election petition by the apex court later today, may we not lean on our own understanding concerning the interpretations of the final ruling but let all parties including the citizenry have clear understanding of the ruling. May God avert any act that will cast doubt in our minds. And may he cause our nation to stand even more resolute in the aftermath. Amen.

Ghana for Peace Prayer Revolution-Prayer: Pray for the ability to sense and seize the moment

1 Chronicles 12:32, Daniel 6:1-28

Understanding the season and times means we are positioned to make the necessary moves to take hold of the opportunity available to us. Issachar knew the times and exactly what Israel ought to do at their time.

On this day let this be our prayer that as life through Christ presents opportunity for us to advance as individuals and as a nation, may we never neglect to seize the moment in our quest to posses our possessions in God's time.

Ghana for Prayer Revolution-Prayer: We pray for the bread of God for the nation Ghana.

Psalms 36:8.

God gives us our daily bread. He also gives us water from streams of delight as well. This means our country will never experience drought. For the sake of christ we will have enough to spend as a nation.

So we pray that may we never be burdened with the demands of life which turn to deplete our strength. But may the supply of God replenish every citizen as we are being filled with His abundant supply from the  fountain that never runs dry. Amen.
